(i) Hindu Marriage Act, 1956, S.13(1)(ia) -- Divorce -- Demand for Separate Residence -- Insistence by wife on residing away from family of husband, when raised without sufficient reason, amounts to cruelty and entitles husband to a decree of divorce on that ground. (ii) Hindu Marriage Act, 1956, S.13(1)(ib) -- Divorce -- Continuous Separation -- Refusal of wife to rejoin husband despite repeated requests, followed by living apart for several years, establishes desertion without justifiable cause.
