Civil Procedure Code, 1908, O.8 R.9, S.151 -- Rejoinder -- Written Statement Raising No New Ground -- Permission to file a rejoinder cannot be granted where the written statement raises no new ground. A dispute where the plaintiff claims possession and the defendant also claims possession is to be resolved by framing an issue on the point, not by allowing a rejoinder.
