Guardianship--Exclusion of Natural Mother -- Interim Injunction--
An interlocutory injunction in guardianship proceedings cannot operate to completely exclude a natural parent from access to a minor child unless the material on record discloses prima facie parental unfitness or a real and imminent risk to the welfare of the child. A natural mother is the natural guardian and an interim order substantially curtailing her access dilutes her statutory recognition at the interlocutory stage itself. Considerations of continuity in routine or academic examinations may justify regulation of interaction but cannot justify complete exclusion. The possibility of parental alienation resulting from prolonged exclusion of a parent is itself adverse to the welfare of the child-- of the Hindu Minority and Guardianship Act, 1956, S.6
