Information Technology Act, 2000, S.69A -- Blocking of Social Media Account -- Some Objectionable Content -- Where objectionable content exists only in respect of some posts, the entire account of a user cannot be blocked. Blocking of the whole account in such circumstances exceeds the power available to the authority, and the account holder is entitled to continue operating the account upon removal of the specific objectionable content.
