Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, S.130 -- Security for Keeping Peace -- Non-Disclosure of Substance of Information -- Executive Magistrate must set forth in writing the substance of information received before issuing a show-cause notice under Section 126 BNSS. The order need not reproduce the information verbatim but must disclose the basic grounds for apprehending breach of peace. A notice issued without such disclosure reflects non-application of mind and cannot sustain proceedings under Section 126 BNSS.
